RED LAKE EXTENSION GOLD PROJECT (RLX)
Location: Red Lake, Ontario, Canada
Ownership: 100% Tri Origin Exploration Ltd. (Canada)

Size: ~ 30,000 Acres

Drilling for gold on the largest under-explored gold project within the Red Lake greenstone belt
The Red Lake Mining District has produced in excess of 20 million ounces gold. The RLX property, located only 10 kilometres to the southeast, is almost as large as the entire neighbouring Red Lake District. Government geological maps from the 1970's indicate that the gold-hosting rocks of the Red Lake greenstone belt did not extend as far as the RLX property and as a result its gold potential has previously been overlooked. Recent field programs by Tri Origin, complimented by Government research, led to the recognition that the Red Lake greenstone belt does continue for the full extent of the RLX property. More importantly, Tri Origin has accumulated data that now indicates that the important Balmer volcanic rocks, which host the majority of gold produced from the Red Lake greenstone belt, and the adjacent Bruce Channel sedimentary rocks reoccur on the property. These prospective host rocks lie within the "Mine Trend" structural corridor extending southeast from two of Canada's premier gold mines, Goldcorp's Red Lake Mine and Placer Dome's Campbell Mine. This data further serves to  confirm that Tri Origin holds one of the most under-explored prospective land positions in the Red Lake greenstone belt.

Diamond drilling priority geochemical and geophysical targets:

Results released in
January 2005 from the fall geological and geochemical program outlined extensive new gold-in–soil geochemically anomalous areas. At RLX, overburden is believed to average over 10 metres in thickness which limits the effectiveness of utilizing surface geochemical results in locating drill targets. Line cutting followed by an I.P. geophysical survey were carried out between May and June of 2005 to better delineate zones of bedrock with potential to host gold mineralization. The I.P. survey was successful in identifying responses that, in correlation with the gold-in-soil geochemical data, represent priority drill targets. Pursuant to receiving these result, Tri Origin staked and acquired 29 claims in three new areas located adjacent to priority drill target areas. Diamond drilling is designed
to test the first of a number of prospective target areas. The possibility that this area of the greenstone belt has potential to host buried and, as yet, undiscovered gold orebodies in bedrock is favourable. Tri Origin's goal over the coming year is to continue to further delineate and drill test these regionally extensive target areas with the goal of defining gold-bearing structures that, if successful, have the potential to be developed into profitable mines.
