Overview
Location: North-central Ontario 310 kilometres north of Thunder Bay and 25 kilometres southwest from the town of Pickle Lake. The project lies within the Pickle Lake greenstone belt, which is an eastward extension of the Red Lake/Birch-Uchi belts. Access is provided by float plane from nearby bases at Pickle or Savant Lake and frozen lakes provide ski-plane or snowmobile access in the winter.
Highlights & Potential for Discovery: A number of partially explored gold occurrences are within volcanic rock and iron-formation at the northeast and central parts of the property. Promising drill targets were delineated by geophysical surveys completed in 2011. In addition, on patent claims contiguous with Tri Origin`s property, a small, non 43-101 compliant resource grading 6.5 g/t was delineated in the 1950s. Tri Origin is targeting along-strike extensions of the rock units which host these gold occurrences.
Description of Asset: The project comprises 24 contiguous claims 100% owned by Tri Origin as well as 8 claims under option from Kitrinor Metals Inc (Tri Origin is earning-in to hold an 80% interest by July 2015), and 2 claims under option from Manicouagan Minerals (Tri Origin is earning-in to hold a 51% interest by August 2014). The claims cover a prospective area of over 79 square kilometres (7905 hectares).

Reason for Selection: The Pickle Lake greenstone belt is host to the Pickle Crow, Central Patricia, Dona Lake, Golden Patricia and other past-producing gold mines with historical production exceeding 3 million ounces of gold. Sky Lake is in the middle of this prolific area within a segment of the greenstone belt that hosts a number of underexplored gold occurrences. These occurrences share geological similarities with currently producing gold mines which makes them attractive exploration targets. In addition, previous exploration was hampered by overburden cover which can now be more effectively explored using modern technology.
Planned Exploration: Ground geophysical and geochemical surveying completed during 2011 has confirmed the potential for new discovery. A diamond drilling is planned for spring 2012.
