Drill ready with 'giant' deposit potential identified by BHP Billiton

The Keewatin property represents an excellent opportunity to explore for gold and base metals with drill-ready targets in a very prospective and virtually unexplored terrain identified by BHP Billiton Plc., the world’s largest diversified mining company, through their Canada-wide regional exploration efforts. BHP Billiton approached Tri Origin regarding its interest in jointly exploring for 'giant' deposits similar to that of the Broken Hill Mining district in NSW, Australia, one of the world's largest producers of zinc, lead and silver.

Tri Origin now holds an option to earn a majority interest in the property by conducting a drilling program. Upon completion, BHP Billiton may participate in the project as a joint venture partner with Tri Origin or have its remaining interest diluted.

Tri Origin has completed preliminary field examinations to assess the property. This work utilized proprietary geophysical, geological and interpretive information supplied by BHP Billiton. Tri Origin examined selected airborne ''Megatem'' electromagnetic anomaly sites for mineralization, alteration and other features indicative of large ''Sedex-type'' base metal deposits. In addition to important base metal targets outlined by BHP Billiton, Tri Origin's field examination returned assay values from samples of boulders of up to 18.7 grams of gold per tonne and up to 4.87 grams of gold per tonne in grab samples from outcrop.

Airborne geophysical survey completed, application and planning for drilling underway

In April of 2005, Aeroquest Limited of Mississauga, Ontario completed an airborne electromagnetic and magnetic survey utilizing the AeroTEM II System. AreoTEM II has provided important refinement of existing geophysical data and has further defined locations selected for drilling. Targets have been selected in consultation with BHP Billiton and applications are being submitted for a drilling permit. Tri Origin is planning to conduct a drilling program at the earliest available opportunity during the 2005 field season.
