The Lewis Ponds tenement is located near the town of Orange, 200 kilometres west of Sydney, New South Wales within a re-emerging gold district. Through earlier work, TriAusMin has discovered, delineated and reported a JORC compliant, Indicated Mineral Resource* of 6.35 Mt grading 2.4% Zinc, 0.2% Copper, 1.4% Lead, 1.5 g/t Gold and 68 g/t Silver. Numerous other gold and base metal occurrences have been identified on the property.
Lewis Ponds remains a priority exploration project for TriAusMin. Additional processing of recent VTEM data and integration with historic geophysical data has confirmed the presence of prospective exploration targets at the Icely, Mount Bulga and Lewis Ponds regions. Recent drilling was successful in intersecting shallow extensions to the existing resource and additional drilling is planned.
