Woodlawn Retreatment Project
Woodlawn Underground Project
Lewis Ponds

Projects

TriAusMin's projects include 100% owned and joint ventured landholdings located in the Lachlan Fold Belt of New South Wales, Australia.  TriAusMin holds a significant land position at Woodlawn near Goulburn, New South Wales which includes the past-producing Woodlawn Mining District.  TriAusMin also holds a portfolio of advanced and early stage exploration prospects, located elsewhere in the Lachlan Fold Belt including the Lewis Ponds poly-metallic deposit, located near Orange in New South Wales.

TriAusMin's plan is to create a long life, low cost mineral processing operation at the Woodlawn site that profitably produces a number of base metals in concentrate form.  Since acquiring access to the Woodlawn property, TriAusMin has completed steps to estimate Proven and Probable Ore Reserves and Mineral Resources (in accordance with JORC standards*) contained in the tailings dams and remaining in-situ mineralization around the underground mine workings.

TriAusMin has examined the potential to retreat the existing Woodlawn tailings in a purpose-built processing facility (the "Woodlawn Retreatment Project") and it has also examined the potential to reopen the underground mine at Woodlawn to produce zinc, copper and lead concentrates in a new processing plant (the "Woodlawn Underground Project").  It is considered possible that the two projects would use very similar processing circuits (a conventional base metal concentrator) for mineral recovery and so could potentially be integrated.

TriAusMin's Board recently approved the development of the Woodlawn Retreatment Project following review of a Front-end Engineering and Design study completed by GR Engineering Services Limited and subject to securing satisfactory financing arrangements.  TriAusMin also recently announced high grade, deep drill intersections at its Woodlawn Underground project.  These intersections are a positive step in TriAusMin's goal of re-establishing production at the past-producing Woodlawn mine.
