Tri Origin Exploration holds an indirect interest in exploration and development projects in Australia through its equity ownership in TriAusMin Limited (“TriAusMin”).  The accounts of TriAusMin are not consolidated with the accounts of Tri Origin.

Tri Origin holds 29,270,023 shares of TriAusMin and values its investment at market value based on the closing share price of TriAusMin on the TSX. 

For example, as at June 30, 2011, the market value of Tri Origin's investment in TriAusMin was:

29,270,023 shares X June 30th, 2011 market price = C$4.1 million

Tri Origin is supportive of TriAusMin and believes that its investment will add value to Tri Origin shareholders through TriAusMin’s successful execution of projects and its potential for long-term growth.  TriAusMin is listed on the TSX under the symbol TOR and on the ASX under the symbol TRO. 

As of March 31, 2012, TriAusMin had 201,111,240 shares issued and outstanding.
